How do I prevent shaving rash?

anyone got a secret?

Answer #1

Vaya smooth…excellent product for preventing and clearing up razor rash.

Answer #2

Go slow - razor wet - use shave gel - press lightly against grain (downward motion) - Wal-Mart carries this product: Dermatologist-tested ‘Bikini Zone’ Medicated Creme which I’ve heard is very good…Take care !!

Answer #3

After shaving, you may can put deoderant on the rash. It helps stop it from itching, which calms the irritation down. It takes about 30 minutes to an hour to work though. It really does help. Good luck!

Answer #4

Do not put deodrant on the rash- that is probably the worst thing to do. It will irate it loads more! You could use baby oil. It locks in moisture and has no gragrance so doesn’t harm the area :)

Answer #5

one thing I’ve found works amazingly is to desolve some asprin in water so it’s a paste then apply it to the area right after you shave and leave it on for like 10 minutes then wash it off. I’m not sure why this works but it works wonders =]
