Well I think if you use a good quality women’s shaving gel with aloe vera or mint, both if possible, you shouldn’t get a rash. Also, keep the area well moisturised after you have shaved and if any rashes or spots do appear, use a natural antiseptic oil such as tea tree.

I’ve tried shaving my vagina before but I always end up with a rash, itchiness, red bumps, ingrown hairs and so on. I am very naturally hairy down there and I seriously think shaving it makes it grow back even more so. I don’t recommend shaving the vagina. The hair is there for a reason. a lot of men don’t even like a shaved vagina. You could trim it if it’ really bad or just do the side areas, but I wouldn’t shave the whole lot off.

use a good cream, I use one I got on ebay and its designed for black mens to use on their face, its brilliant, if you can use it on your face you can use it anywhere. you can buy it in powder form which you mix with water and that is the best. I think its called magic shave or something.

Dear kate_13, The reason the hair is there is to stop the bacteria from entering the vagina…much like the nose hairs stop the pollen from entering the nose. But many women feel more comfortable with the hair shaven so there are percautions. You need to use a razor that isn’t for men but one with built in moisturizing lotion. The razor must be sharp so preferably one that hasn’t been used before ( never use anyone elses razor)…they are sharp so be gentle to avoid cuts. Make sure the area is clean before shaving and always try to shave upwards for better control. If you find you still have a rash after and it’s itchy then perhaps you will be one of the ones who cannot do this. Sue…good luck

Answer #7

Wax it, or get laser-hair removal…

Answer #8

Use Bikini zone after shaving
