Sex Addiction?

Is it unhealthy to feel the need to have sex whenever I’m emotional, sad, angry, depressed, (All those bad feelings) And not because I’m sexually aroused?

Whenever I’m really upset, I can’t help but have the urge to have sex. I’m not horny either, just upset.

HELP.

Sex releases endorphins and makes us feel better. For example, if I have a headache that nothing can toch, sex will always get rid of it!

Also, the physical responses to any emotion, including arousal, are very similar. Especially intense emotions can make you crave the release that orgasms provide.

You should get that checked out.. It may not be something big.. But what’s it gonna hurt if you do? In the future this could get worse or end up hurting you..

I wouldn’t call it addiction. You already know yourself that having an orgasm helps to relieve lots of different things, stress, sadness, etc. It’s perfectly healthy to use sex/masturbation to help relieve yourself of bad feelings, sadness, anger, etc. In the end your feeling better, and enjoy an orgasm to boot.
