I had my little brother pierce my ear when I was 13 and he was 12..and well it was very painful even after numbing it with ice for a half hour..and it turned out crooked so I had to wait for it to grow back in and get it done at the mall..oh and it got terribley infected…so dude I would just go to the mall and get it done because believe me you dont want to get it infected because it sucks!

do NOT do it yourself…but if you must, then practice on something first, like an orange peel. use a STERILIZED needle, ice, and an orange.

  1. numb your ear lobe until its fairly numb (30-40 min) 2.take a washable, non toxic marker and put a little dot where you want it pierced and check in the mirror to make sure its in the right spot.
  2. do quickly: remove ice from ear. place orange behind ear. poke needle in the middle of the dot where you marked for it to be.

side effects include: bleeding, puffiness, pain, and possible current infection.

after you are done piercing it, rinse it with alcohol every night w/out twisting the earring. after around 3 weeks, start slowly turning the earring, making it loose. leave it in for 8 weeks, and do not take it out any earlier. when you take them out after 8 weeks, only leave them out for a few min. and then change your earrings, make sure they are studs and are sterilized and hypo algergetic.

it doesn’t hurt. at all. I’m guessing you’re talking about the ear lobe, not the cartilagge? you can always get a piercing gun, they’re like $10 with the earrings at walmart. but if you don’t wanna do that, I’ve pierced my ears with a safety pin a lot, and they’re absolutely fine. just make sure you clean everything super well before hand. and keep cleaning your ears after you pierce it. make sure you have hypo alergenic earings, allergic reactions to earings are horrible. side effects really depends on the person. mine never bled. it didn’t hurt for me, like I could barely tell if it was through all the way, because I didn’t feel it. infection if you don’t take care of it, obviously. just clean everything first, mark the spot on both ears you wanna pierce, and shove the needle through. in my experience, it’s better to pierce one ear with the needle, leave the needle in, find another needle, and pierce the other one. then put the earring in the first one you pierced. that way it won’t try to close up immediatly after you take the needle out.

I wouldn’t pierce anywhere other then the lobe at home. You will need a pin, an earring, a lighter and some ice. You just numb your lobe with the ice, then you mark where you want it to be, clean it with an alcohol swab, heat up the end of the pin with the lighter (it helps it go through easier) then just stick it through then put the earring in. Side effects incude a tiny bit of pain and possibly infection if you don’t clean it well enough. Hope i helped :)
