self done lip piercing???

Do not pierce your own lip. There are professional piercers for a reason - they know what they are doing and you don’t. Piercing it yourself is just asking for problems, infections, your body rejecting the piercing, etc. I’ve seen so many people come into our shops with permanant scars from piercings they did themselves. It’s terrible.

Also, if your grandmother doesn’t want you having one - there is NO way to hide a lip piercing from her.

You DON’T pierce it yourself. That’s just plain stupid. NEVER do ANY piercing yourself, it’ll only lead to serious problems infections, not healing up right, not even being done right in the first place, etc. If your grandma is your legal guardian and says no, then wait until your 18. You’ll see that it’s well worth the wait. If your already 18 or older, YOU DON’T NEED HER SAY SO! You can getit done professionally WITHOUT parental/legal guardian consent. Don’t listen to ANYONE giving you advice/tips on how to do this. And if they say they’re a professional piercer, they’re wrong. A TRUE professional wouldn’t be telling you to do such a stupid thing, they’d be saying “DON’T do it yourself! Come to a professional like myself so you don’t end up causing a lot of problems to yourself”. You don’t know what your doing and neither does anyone else. Only the professional piercers know what they’re doing. And FYI - There’s no way to hide a lip ring.

I always pierce my on things. Nose Monroe Lip Bellybutton Ears You hve to make sure you get a NEW lip ring not used. A NEW needle or clean it in peroxide really well. Put ice on your lip and make sure its numb. Then just stick the needle threw. Take it out really fas and you should be ale to fit the lip ring in.(: Thats how I do it. But then make sure to keep it clean.

I my Monroe (or Madonna] myself; some beauty supply stores sale disposable lip piercing guns or whatever, and you could buy a lip ring from there or at a store like; Spencers, I THINK Claires (but Im not 100]. but I got mine from the supply store.

but some spots you want to pierce your lip- you GOTTA go to the parlor; (or somebody who does it with the needle].

but yea; make sure everything`s clean && freshh (or sterilized] and if you cant buy a lip ring; then you probably shouldnt do it. b/c earrings are uncomfortable as lip rings && anything else… I wouldnt do it.

do not pierce your own lip. it can cause serious problems. go to a professional. really, trust me. my friend had to go to the hospital because she didnt see a professonal.
