Scary thunder/lighting storm last night

K last night a big thunder/lighting storm happened and I got really scared becausee I was alone. The house got like really shakyy oncee. And it scares mee so muchhh.

How do I overcome these fearss? How do I know if an emergency is happeneingg?

You could try to talk yourself through it. Like it’s not really that scary if you think about it. I used to be afraid to but then I told myself that they aren’t that bad.

First off what about them scares you?

You could try and thing of the thunder and lighten as something different. Like I think of the thunder of the heavens bowling and the lighting when the heavens are turning on lights.
