Greg Philo’s journey began in 1983 at the age of 18 when he started his remodeling career in Portland’s historic Pearl District. Over the years, Greg honed his skills in woodworking, finish-work, and project management, eventually working on high-end homes and notable large-scale projects. His passion for restoration was ignited during his tenure as a Project Manager for a fire restoration company in 2005. This experience, combined with his firefighting background, inspired him to found Fire Expert.
