Who else refuses to use a microwave to cook or heat things in?
I can’t atnd to use them, I don’t even own one. Oooops supposed to say can’t stand to use them
My mom gave me one though I was sure I never needed it. :-/
I sometimes use it to warm the leftovers from yesterdays lunch. I also use the microwave in the coffee kitchen in my work place to warm my lunch. I use to prepare something at home and then take to work in a plastic box.
But I never used the microwave to cook any complete meal that I hadn’t had on my stove before. And I absolutely refuse to buy those out-of-the-box meals where you just open the lid, put it in the microwave and heat it. shiver
The microwave is very useful for heating cherry-kernel pillows to put on your neck when you have a muscle tension.
I think they make food taste funny :-/
Not me I use my microwave all the freaken time. I may not use it to cook complete meals, but I will use it on parts of it -like doing back potatoes or heating up frozen or canned vegetables to go with a meal.
Some things are ok to cook in the microwave. It’s quicker and more convenient for a lot of people. Plus it costs more to cook in the oven all the time which is a cost not all can afford.
well i dont cook but my bro does…
Stuff is more wet/ wobbly when you heat it in the microwave. When you heat it on the stove it will loose more water. I wouldn’t use the microwave to heat anything that is supposed to be crunchy.
I agree with that
I use a microwave to heat up leftover and cook ramen, corndogs, and some other things. I went about 3 months without a microwave and i thought i might die from starvation. I find it a hassle to try and warm things up in the oven or the stove and it just takes to long. I like quick meals so i like microwaves
I Dont really like the microwave much either, I use it to reheat some left over foods but rather just keep it for my milk in the morning. Pop a glass of milk in the microwave & 2 mins later I hv my latte’!!! I really try not to use it for anything with pastries, pastas, maybe to heat up rice…but the real food I rather use on the stove top or a toaster oven. even when I was heating up a chicken wing, I did it in the toaster oven on a low heat so it also got nice & hot on the inside but a nice crisp outer part.
i know a lot of people that do that.. i kinda of try to just use toaster oven to heat things up!? :)
