Why do I have red rings around the top and bottom of my belly bar?
on the 29th of july i got my belly done but after a few days these red rigs came up my mum and dad said that ill be alright but when i looked it up on the internet some say its infected and i just dont know what to do :/ <3 x
Go to your doctor, it is their job to make sure you heal properly.
It does sound like it’s Infected if it’s got red rings around it. I would see your Dr. You may need Antibiotics to get rid of the Infection!
Go back to the place you got it pierced, it’s possible your body is allergic to the material the jewlery is made out of. It wasn’t pierced very long ago so it could be your body is just taking awhile to heal :)
my mum and dad said that its just wear its healing but over the past days its going down but i just cant figure out what to do my mum and dad said that im better of seeing what happens when its fully healed ;/ im just worried

No, its not just “wear” from the piercing. I worked in a tattoo/piercing parlor for years. Several things can cause red rings by your piercing, its hard to tell without actually seeing it which one it is, an infection, your body rejecting the piercing, or an allergic reaction. You need to go back to the piercing shop and have them look at it, if its infected you need antibiotics from a doctor because infections can spread and become more serious, if its rejecting the piercing or your allergic it will need to be removed.
