What are these red bumps I'm getting?

Um okay I shave and I usually get little red dots every now and then and sometimes none at all.. I just shaved a few days ago.. about 3 days ago… and well the first night I shaved it was fine.. the next day it had a few bumps.. and now I have huge red bumps every where around my vagina and it itches sooo badly.. I dont have sex so im not sure what it is.. its very bad… they are huge red bumps everywhere I shaved and have been there for 4 days now.. how do I get rid of them? is this a bad thing? what is it?

It’s usual. Basically you need a decent shaver, one that goes VERY close to the skin to stop this from happening. it’s because the skin and hair bed around your vagina is very sensitive and if you don’t cut the hairs right to the skin then you will come out in a rash. Also when the hairs grow sometimes it will come out in a rash as well. Getting a special bikini razor may help or you could try hair removal cream however you need to amke sure it is one that can go on this area! also make sure you put moisturiser on straight after you have shaved and make sure you use shaving cream when shaving. Hope this helped and don’t worry your not a freak or have some weird illness! x

It could just be razor burn…it happens to everyone usually. Expecially if you dont use enough soap or shavin cream!…It’ll go away!…Hope this helps!:)

Answer #4

you need to put some skin calming lotion after you shave it and make sure you moisturize it before you shave. it’s itchy because it’s growing back.. just put some lotion or skin calming lotion again or just shave it again.
