Hi I'm 20 and I get worried sometimes that I don't get my period like normal women do.

I get them sometimes but I could go 6-8 months without it and go normal for two months but I can never know when its time. I used to think it was the greatest thing to happen , but know its kindof scary me a bit. I have a boyfriend whose older than me like 10 yrs. we are sexually active and he wanted me to have kids. we go unprotected for like a year and I still don’t get pregrnant. He doesnt know i have this problem but he ll ask if Im on birth control to see if thats why i don’t get my periods often or pregnant. It didnt used to bother me until now. I dont see why I’m not getting pregnant yet . I do want kids in my future because I’m the only one who doesnt have any out of my 8 siblings and it hurt that they have them and I ‘m the only one who doesnt. It get awkward when we have a get together and they all hang out and talk about their kids and I can’t say anything but “aww”. Is their any reason why I’m not getting my periods and does that mean I’m infertile or can’’t have kids? It would really hurt if so

It doesn’t sound normal, but we aren’t trained professionals here. We can’t accurately or safely diagnose you, so I think that you should make an appointment with your doctor or gynecologist.

Let them know your symptoms, what’s been going on, how long it’s been happening, etc. They’ll take it from there. =)
