how can I record whats happening on my computer screen using my computer?like im watching a movie and I wna record it while watching it
If you’re streaming a movie, I don’t believe it can be done. At least not without installing some other programs that I don’t know of. If you’re watching a dvd, you’ll have to use some software like “any dvd” (to breake the code that prevents you from copying the movie), and “clone DVD to shrink it dovn to about 4,3 Giga and burn it over to a DVD. You can also use a free software called “DVD shrink”, but if it’s a fairly new movie, you’ll need the ANY DVD program. That’s just like a little driver, running in the background, breaking the codes. You’ll find it here:
You can also just turn the movie into a .iso file, and use VLC mediaplayer to watch it.
“Nero” or “Alcohol 120%” is just two programs who does this for you.
Just look around. There’s lots of free programs you can try, but be shure to have a antivirus program as well when downloading.

For sound recording only, try Audacity.
