I'm trying to record my own music using my computer. what kind of software or programs can I use. I don't have a big budget.
If you don't have a lot of money, just use a video camera. It gets the job done. I knew a few bands in my old hometown that did it, and helped them get their music out there enough to draw people to concerts. After they made enough money, they just paid to get a few songs recorded with someone who knew what they were doing, look around there's bound to be people who know about people who could do it for you in your local area.
