PC windows Stereo Mixer and Mic.. Cant check both

Hi Im using Windows XP. And Im using Realtek soundcard

Why is it that in recording control I cant check both mic and stereo mixer! But in my other desktop, I can Check both of them.

I wanted to use mic while playing a music on the background.

How Can I use both Mic and Stereo mixer?

Are you using A Realtek program? Are you using a windows based program? Are you running windows xp on the other computer? What versions of device drivers are you using?

Im using XP pro… laptop…

using realtek.

cant tell of what are the version of the said drivers…
