recently had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled

sorry if anything is spelt wrong lol. I recently got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled and I leterally look like a rabit or a chipmunk lol !!!. it has been 2 days since my actual surgurey, and iam on the third day off from school and work and am itching to go back to my regular schedule, I am putting ice on it for 15 min on and 15min off, and I’m sure that after a couple more days I’ll be fine. but I have to work saturday and by the looks of things it doesn’t look like I’m going to make it in. Does anyone know of a quicker way to reduce the swelling? ( I’m also on ibprofin 400) PLEASE HELP!!!

If your jaw is swollen, red, hot and or hard, it could be a sign of infection. Go back to the dentist if this is the case. Otherwise try alternating hot and cold to increase circulation.

Sometimes you just gotta wait it out. :-)

I had 4 wisdom teeth all pulled at once, now I don’t know how bad yours were (mine were all impacted and my jaw had to be partially drilled to get at the teeth), and it took me about 2 weeks before I finally began to look normal again.

As long as the pain isn’t getting any worse you should be fine. Just on a waiting game… but don’t worry, once the swelling starts to go down it’ll disappear really fast. You’ve been through a battle having those wisdom teeth out - wear those puffy cheeks proudly!! You’re still you and beautiful I’m positive at that. :-)
