What could be reasons my jaw suddenly hurts so much whenever I bite?

Answer #1

It could be something you are eating, if it’s too chewy. You could be grinding your teeth, or setting your jaw unconsciously.Or if you sleep on your side that could be the problem :P If you don’t think it’s any of those it could be something like TMJ, if your family has a history of it. You can ask the dentist about it, if it starts to really bother you :)

Answer #2

If it is in your jaw line You have something wrong with your teeth, like infection. If it’s more so in the joint there is something wrong with your joint. Either way it’s gonna get worse over time. Go get Xrays. The Afdent in my area has free new client exams w/ a full set of xrays!!
