ok my brothers one year anniversary is coming up of his passing july 6th of 2008 it was my mothers only son and my only brother he was suppose to be my daughters godfather he is the only man I always looked up to even though he was younger then me what should I do on baptizing my daughter would it be wrong not to?? im lost dont know what I should do
If baptizing your daughter is important to you, then have it done. Yes, you’ll have to find another godfather, but I don’t think your brother would have expected less.
If it really bothers you, your daughter doesn’t have to have a godfather at all - my daughter has 2 godmothers.
Do what your heart is telling you. If she is important enough then you will. being baptized is special… I think you shud :)
