Someone help me word this correctly!

I love my family…but I spend every waking moment with the fam and its getting annoying. I mean…most peeps have some sort of a social life, but on friday night (just an example) I’m usually with the fam and almost always home early. Or I just sit home in my room. I’m never seen in public w/out some member of the fam hangin over me like a dead goose. And when I try to tell them that I need a little space, I get the whole “well, we drove you here so we’re going to stay” and more recently the all-too-famous “we love you and want to spend time with you, but I guess you dont want to spend time with us”…it’s just that its really embarassing having them hang over me. It chases people away (esp. Hot guys!*) but the real problem is…how do I tell them?! I’ve tried just about every way, like “look, I love you guys and that’ll never change. But I spend a lot of time with you, and I need some me time too. Maybe if I look a little more approachable, people my own age will talk to me.” but I always get the guilt trip. How would you break it to them??

Plan a specific activity with all of them once a week, I dont know, do something on sunday with them (for example). Then make plans to do something with your friends on saturday and if they say they want to spend time with you, agree and say you’re really looking forward to spending time with them on sunday…
