How would you react if your child came home with a report with 1 A, 1 B, 3 C's, and 1 D?

Answer #1

Depends on how their learning ability was. If they could learn very well then I would be VERY agervated. But however if they had a learning diapility i would be happy :D

Answer #2

Considering how I am and my grades in school in general I would be pretty happy. As long as there’s no F’s which I don’t see, I would probably take him or her somewhere to celebrate. That’s what I think should happen when kids bring home decent grades. Otherwise the kids may lose incentive and not try in school as much or anymore. I know from experience…

Answer #3

It depends on my child and alot of other things on how i would react. If i had seen that my child had tried their best, did their homework, studied for test, and actually tried to get good grades i wouldnt be upset. Not every kid excels in the “school environment” and some kids struggle to barely pass. I would try and find a tudor or programs that could help them learn alternative ways instead of blaming them for having bad grades when they really did try. Now if the child got the grades due to lazyness, not caring, and not doing their work - there would be consequences for their grades.

Answer #4

well they didnt fail at anything. so i would be pretty happy. especially if they really tried.

Answer #5

be happy they’re passing everything and mayb even hand then $50. I’d be a very lienent, down to earth parent.

Answer #6

Depends on the child. And I guess what the child’s capabilities were and how much they tried. My parents had high expectations and so I had good grades. My parents would have been more than a little annoyed if I came home with those grades.

Answer #7

i cant talk on this one. i have all a’s and b’s with one c

Answer #8

Hooray! Those are my typical grades haha. As long as my child is passing, It’s fine with me. they don’t need to stress over classes that they don’t care for.

Answer #9

The only thing that would upset me is the d, if it was in a class they weren’t good at like math I would be to dissapointed but if it was in a easy class like gym that’s anothor story.
