the whites can be.. as they are full of protien but the yellow is full of fat but I wouldnt drink the whites on their own. because it tastes foul :P

Ha don’t worry I used to eat them all the time. Mixed with milk, sugar and vanilla to make egg nog. Mmmm, that was good. But then again I never get sick from anything.
Point is people are paranoid about sanitation. It’s safer to cook them just in case but if you do have a raw egg you wont vomit up your spleen. If you get bad luck you may have stomach problems 1% of the time but if you’re healthy enough and the eggs are fresh that’ll be 0% of the time. Heck, did you know up to 2% of the people who swim at the beach get sick from it later? Too bad they haven’t figured out how to boil all the ocean water yet.
Oh yeah, is it good for you? Well, some vitamins are partially destroyed by cooking, but you still keep most of them. A cooked egg is almost as good. And yeah eggs are good for you, especially the good stuff in the yolk. Contains as much good cholesterol as bad cholesterol, and the lecithin is good for your heart and brain. Plus protein and vitamins and so on. So ya eat your eggs.
