How do I tell my parents I want to be Punk, when they hate punks, and don’t like them.

just start dressing like one and show them how awesome they are. plus, it’s your life and if you want to be a punk just go for it!!

Ohhh.. That way You cant explain them what you want! Try to say that punk hasnot got anything bad and maybe they can understand that!

I always use to love scaring my parents with the way I am. I still love it ;D I am an emo kid, and my parents hate it, but they know it is my choice and they also know I wont listen to there opinion on how I should be.

I don’t think you should even tell them. Let them figure it out. Start dressing like a punk, listening to punk music (I am sure you already do) and start asking for piercings. (like I did, and my Mom let me get my lip done) They will see that you are maturing, and changing. They have to love you either way. Whatever you decide to do, or be.
