How do I tell my parents I don't want to play sofbtall anymore?

So, I have played softball for 7 years, I started when I was 9. I would say that I’m really talented, because I have been pitching for about 2 years, and I pitch 62 mph, I throw an accurate fastball, change up, curve, rise, screw, and drop. and I have a really good RBI… But I hate the sport so much. And I really don’t want to play for college because they eat, breath, and sleep softball. so how do I tell my parents without them getting mad at me?

just say, I dont really wanna do softball anymore, and that its your life and your hobbies. they cant pick your hobbies. I told my mom I didnt wanna do dance anymore after this year and she was like but you have to. only cause I did it sience I was like 2. so I was like well you cant pick what I wanna do and she just laughed. but they will have to understand.
