I’m enrolled in college already well on my way to a medical career. But I want to change my major from nursing science to gynecology.
I want to specialise in adolescent gynecology, pregnancy and breast health.
But I don’t know how to tell them “hi mom, I wanna be a gynecologist.” it would be really awkward. Any tips?
act normal and say mom I need to talk to you please support me in my dision I want to be a gynecologist. and see what she says but watever you wanna be its ok so dont worry and im glad your out there to help women thanks. good luck
Given that you dont actually specialize till you’re 4th or 5th year in medical school, and you havent even started yet, I wouldnt worry about it. You’ve got about 7 or 8 years and by then you’ll be an adult, and things like this wont be all that embarrassing.
