Psychiatry: 4 years undergraduate, (you will need to follow a pre-med course) 4 years medical school, 4 years residency + specialization well it’s as hard as getting any other medical degree…

start by applying to good undergraduate programs where you can get your bachelors in science degree

Other careers in psychology Clinical Psychologists: 4 years undergraduate, 4-5 years doctorate, 1 year internship + hours needed to get licensing, depends on the state

Counseling Psychologists: 4 years undergraduate, 2 years masters - or you can go straight into the doctorate program (5 years), 1 year internship + hours needed to get licensing, depends on the state
