What's the best present you've ever received?

I don’t care for presents much, I don’t care much for material things but if I had to say it would probably be the necklace my grandma gave me on my 1st birthday I’ve never taken it off

On my 15th birthday this boy Noah walked me to my favorite place (which is my band class) and right in front of the band room he asked me to be his girfriend and he gave me my first kiss(: Even though we broke up like 3 weeks later, it meant a lot <3

I wouldn’t say its a gift.. but it was sweet.. my boyfriend (he was my friend at the time) he gave me pink roses on easter.. which i really didnt ask for. but it was super sweet of him and after a month later me and him started going out.. and now we have been together for 2 months:)

Ohhh gosh, the best? - It comes down to two… One is when my bf got me a dozen roses for our second valentines, I noticed one was fake, in the card it said (I will love you till the last rose dies!), second was also from my bf, it was a birthday present. It was a box that was so darn heavy… It was filled with pennies… I was like wtf at first? Then I pushed and realized that under the pennies, there were lululemon pants I’ve been having my eyes on, a box of godiva chocolates and a CD (a power point he made of songs we share together and pics of us) - I cried my eyes out!!

I have one of those kinda cheesy “What your name means” thing that a good friend gave me back for my 19th birthday. I don’t really see much of her any more, but have very found memories of long talks about the nature of the universe and such things at 3am eating at the only 24hr restaurant in town :P.

I haven’t til this very day…materialistic crap like jewels, money, flowers & poetry from others means nothing if it is just a bunch of hot air…empty promises & all lies…the one Present I long to receive is pure unconditional love mixed in with both pure unconditional mutual respect & pure unconditional mutual acceptance. Problem is in today’s society it no longer exists. Everything else means NOTHING to me.

Best present? The claddagh ring my boyfriend got me as a promise ring :). The Claddagh is actually an Irish engagement or wedding ring but is also used as a promise ring. The Claddagh is a heart held by hands with a crown. The heart symbolizing love, the hands friendship and the crown loyal.

One of the best presents I got, it was simple but ment so much to me. My ex B.f’s mom made me a braclet. It ment so much that she took the time to make one for me, it made me feel accepted by her. & that got me into making braclets. I’ll always consider her another mom to me.

I have a doll that I got when I was born which is pretty spesh. Also a few years ago a friend gave me a little policeman figurine which I’ve always had sitting in my room (and took with me when I moved), which is a great inspiration towards my dream of becoming a Police woman.

Easily the best would have been a trip to Japan for my 40th.

My friend gave me 100 reasons why we’re best friends and added all the things she loves about me and whenever I’m feeling down I just go over a few and it lifts my spirits<3 Best cure ever and by far beats any present.
