Is it okay to take prenatal vitamins if your not pregnant?

Answer #1

Most vitamins require 10 times the recommended dose for an entire month to be harmful. Unless you take way too many pills, it can’t hurt. Even the extra stuff. But the extra unnecessary stuff wouldn’t help either.

Answer #2

Its ok- but there are a few extra things in there that you won’t need so much of, and I’m not sure how that will affect your body. Like ichibanarky said, it’s best to just take a one-a-day if you need vitamins.

Answer #3

It’s fine to take them if you’re trying to get pregnant, but if you’re just taking them for a regular supplement, then, no I don’t suggest it.

If you need extra supplements, then take a regular one-a-day vitamin.
