Sika and monica are right. Vitamins don’t make you get pregnant. They just make birth defects less likely to occur.

That’s great that you want to take vitamins for your baby, but it sounds like you should learn more about prenatal development before getting pregnant. Make sure you’re seeing an ob-gyn. You can ask your ob-gyn for more information, and you can ask her all about vitamins and see if there is any certain kind that she recommends.

It might seem irrelevant to you, but I agree with Monica that you should brush up on your spelling, grammar, etc. With a baby around, it will probably mean less time for you to educate yourself. That’s why you should get education out of the way before even trying for a baby. By being educated, you can set a good example for your baby and be able to teach him/her.

sikashimmer is absolutley right. Folic acid and prenatal vitamins do not increase your chances of becoming pregnant. Prenatal vitamins are taken during pregnany to replenish your body of all the vitamins and minerals your growing baby is “stealing” from you. And prenatal vitamins contain folic acid. That being said, your friend told you a story if she said her doctor told her to take prenatal vitamins to increase her chances of conception. Her doctor may have instructed her to begin taking the vitamins to plan for when she does become pregnant, but not to help her achieve this. If you have been trying for year to get pregnant, you obviously have neglected stimulating your brain. Before you decide to become somone’s mother, maybe you should consider learning how to spell and use correct sentences so you will have something valuable to teach your child.

Answer #3

Folic Acid and prenatal vitamins do not increase your chances of becoming pregnant. They are very beneficial to a pregnancy and a good idea to take them before a pregnancy. The folic acid and vitamins help keep baby healthy and wart of potential birth defects.
