Can you pray for my Mother too?
My mom is really sick and in the hospital. She’s had pneumonia a few times within the past 2 or 3 years. And needed oxygen. Then her insurance ran out, and her meds ran out and by the time we got them all back, she felt horrible, so we called 911. She went to the hospital and is now on a ventilator to help her breathe and sedated. There’s fluid in her lungs, and her lungs arent the best. Shes slowly getting better. She’s breathing 30% on her own and the ventilator is pumping 70% oxygen in her lungs. They can start weaning her off the vent when she gets at 50%. And they can take her off the vent when she gets at 30%. Meaning when she breathes 70% on her own. So in 5 days, it went from 100% to 70%. The lower, the better! Please pray for her! Please! I’m only 19. My mama is only 41 years old. She has a lot to live for. I need her. She needs me. Vice versa. Here is a lovely prayer that the church sent me:
“ Dear Cheyenne, here is our healing prayer for your mother…..
Heavenly Father, Cheyenne and I come into Your presence to love and adore You. Thank You for Your love and Your desire for union with us. We welcome all that You wish to do through this healing prayer. We open ourselves to communication with You and Jesus through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Come Holy Spirit, anoint Cheyenne and I with healing powers so deep it reaches back into our blood line; right to Cheyenne’s mother with healing so wide it impacts her whole body with healing so high it draws her mother and Cheyenne, into Your holiness.
Holy Spirit, come with Your fire. Our Father Which Art In Heaven. Father God, by Your grace we come to You with all that we are and all that we ever hope to be. We are your children born of Your love. Jesus brought us into Your presence. You alone satisfy our soul. You in Cheyenne provide path of healing for Cheyenne’s mother. From the tip of her toes to the top of her head, to the depths of her soul. Inside and out. By Your grace we come into Your presence with simple, trusting assurance, certain of Your love for uCheyenne’s mother. In Your presence all fear and insecurity melt away and deep hurts become healing memories. In Your presence they are strengthened and filled with hope. Father in heaven, breathe the breath of heaven on Cheyenne’s mother deep inside her spirit. Your heaven flows through her. May the light of Your glory be present with her throughout this day and always - giving her complete healing and restoration for many many years.
Father, Cheyenne and her mother, choose to live this one precious life in a way that honors Your holy name. You call them to worship, and they come to you, Oh Father, let all that is within them cry holy. Let every wound of their past dissolve in the light of Your wonderful presence. Turn Cheyenne’s mothers weaknesses into strengths, failures into victories, sorrows into joy. Perfect all that concerns her health and gaze upon Your holiness. Your kingdom of love is in her heart. Jesus and Your kingdom is established in her spirit. In coming to know Jesus, she is discovering who she is Precious Lord. Your kingdom has come into her emotions, and they are in a healthy balance. Your kingdom has come into her mind, and it is sanctified. Your kingdom has come into her body, and she is becoming healthy. Your kingdom rules her heart, and she lives a life of richness and depth. Your kingdom has come into her mouth, and she speak words that heal and liberate. Because Your kingdom rules Cheyenne and her mothers life she is resilient and filled with hope in all circumstances.
Father in heaven, unite our will with that of Your son. Thank You for giving us a spirit of submission, tender and open to the Holy Spirit. In every circumstance we commend ourselves to Your grace and choose what is pleasing to You. Father, We delight to do Your will. When we lay our life before You and say “Thy will be done,” Cheyenne and her mother receive it as an act of worship. And receive your healing power!
Wonderful Lord, You have come tenderly into the deepest struggles of their life and whispered, “Just keep Your eyes on me. Trust me to take care of You.” You have come into their broken heart and made it a place of worship. You have drawn them to praise You when everything in my world was in ashes. You have called them to trust beyond all reason. And that they may lay their life upon the altar of Your love and say with joy in my soul, “Thy will be done.” Jesus, They trust in You.”
Father, their heart beats with Your heart, to live in Christ. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for bringing their life into harmony with heaven. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for teaching them how to walk with Jesus in His resurrected life. Thank You, that the attitudes of heaven are their attitudes. WSe think Your thoughts and walk in Your presence. We carry the light of Heaven wherever we go.
Father, You have always taken care of us, and You always will. You give us what we need each day and prepare us for tomorrow. Our faith is growing. Thank You for our daily joy that draws Cheyenne to worship when sadness comes. Thank You for Your healing balm that soothes the day’s aches and pains. Thank You for Your perfect love that soaks away fear. Your tender daily care in every area of need draws us, to our knees in worship. Thank You for walking with us day by day. In our growing friendship You have never failed us, ever. We love You, Father.
I love You, Jesus, Bread of Heaven. I love You, Holy Spirit.
Father, thank You for Your gift of mercy our life; Your mercy that reaches Cheyenne’s heart, because she has forgiven those who hurt her. We confess sins and receive forgiveness. We are free from condemnation and safely united to You. THe Lord`s truth has made us free. I love You Father. Father, Thank You for protecting Cheyenne’s mother from every evil and for bringing her the gift of peace. You have broken the chain of oppression, delivered her from depression, anger, guilt, and fear. At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow; addictions, perversions, hopelessness, worthlessness, loneliness and despair must bend their knee to the name of Jesus. Lord we cast down every argument and every high thing in us that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Thank You for giving Cheyenne the power over all the powers of the enemy. Nothing shall hurt her or her mother. You have given her a spirit of praise and worship, which is her strength in the face of the enemy. Thank You for Your armor, Your name, Your blood, Your Spirit. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Thank You Father. I love You. Father, every gift You have given Cheyenne and her mother, every dream, every talent, every possesion, every resource and hope for the future, They return to You with love. All is Yours. May Your name be glorified, may Your kingdom come. Take Lord, receive, All our liberty, memory, understanding, our entire will. All that we have and possess. You have given all to Cheyenne and her mother; To You, O’ Lord, we return it. All is Yours. Dispose of it wholly according to You will. Give us Your love and Your grace, for this is sufficient. Amen!! “
