Potty Potty!

What’s the best way to get a child potty trained!!! It seems like it’s just not clicking or is she confused?

You have to check her diaper often. When you see that she’s wet, put her on the potty. Also, get in a routine of taking her and just putting her on the potty at certain times (first thing in the morning, right before a meal, before you leave the house, before bed). After a while, she will get the point. So there’s a lot of patience involved too. I have two girls and this seems to work fine.

I think a lot of parents simply try to potty train their kids too young. Some parents act like having their kids potty trained at a young age reflects well on their child’s intelligence and their own parenting skills. Some signs that a child is ready for potty training is that they wake up dry most mornings and that they are aware of when their diaper is wet or dirty.
