last april my boyfriends uncle sexaully abused me and hes still out there and the cops won’t do anything about it well my boyfriends sisters all got raped by him and they won’t do anything about it do you think theres something I could do to push the police to do something about it it don’t help when his daughter goes to my school I can’t sleep at night what can I do

Did you go to the cops and make a statement? Keep bugging them, if nothing happens go to the mayor. That’s what I did.

I recommend that you get an advocate. Try and find a rape and crisis center for women in your area, they can help out with counseling and they can nudge the police along.

The justice system unfortunately is very slow when it comes to sexual abuse and rape. My abuser didn’t get arrested until 3 years after I reported it to the police. And I’m just now going through trial preparations.
