Please help its my dog

Omg. My cat had this and we took her to the vet and it was a tumar. Take your dog to the vet as soon as possible. We took my cat to late and she had to be put down. R.I.P FLUFFY :(

You shoud’ve taken him as soon as this started!! If there is EVER ANYTHING abnormal with your animal, then you need to take him/her to the vet.

Just because it’s not normal for a dog to not be able to close it’s mouth, I would personally take him/her to the vet as soon as possible. Your dog’s jaw might be locked, or you could be right… it might just have a toothache. Hopefully it’s nothing serious (:

Sounds like gum disease or he could have something trapped there that went rotten. You should definately get him seen by a vet - if it is gum disease it could kill him if you leave it too long

I just went online to ask the same question about my dog. This is something I noticed right now, which is 6:30 pm on a holiday. Instead of yelling at this person to take their PET TO THE VET, which we do but can’t at this moment, why dont you just answer then and stop being such morons. It does NOT border on cruelty. I love my dog and just noticed this so I want to see what it “might’ be so I can prepare myself. I just lost a dog to osteosarcoma so everything that happens worries me. Quite being so judgemental, you have no idea why someone is looking on the internet for an answer. I have to wait until morning, and I look to get some ideas. Stop being such idiots.

I really can’t understand why people would waste their time asking questions on here about their pets, when they can see quite obviously that the animal is either suffering or unwell. If it was a child would you do the same thing, or take them for medical treatment straight away?? It borders on animal cruelty!!!

The fact that he cannot close his mouth, eat or drink, to me is a Big Red Flag! You need to take this poor dog to the vet as soon as possible. The sooner you get him to a vet, for proper diagnosis and treatment, the better off your dog will be! The longer you wait, the more he’s going to suffer, and the worse his condition will get! Please, for your poor dogs sake, don’t wait!!!
