number 1 thing to do: keep it clean! I had these scabs on my face for a few years…I thought it was just bad acne, but I went to a doctor a few months ago for a sore throat, and she told me I had a staph infection on my face. she prescribed antibiotics and it cleared up within a few weeks. also, use a super gentle clenser. cetaphil is fine, but sometimes I have trouble with it. if you grind up some oats (the uncooked oatmeal works great) in a food processer and mix it with all natural yogurt (the FATTY stuff). Leave it on until its mostly dry, then rinse. Apply some witch hazel to remove the yogurt residue, and then very lightly pat some all natural olive oil/vitamin e oil/ avacado oil all over your face. this keeps my skin looking great (if I didn’t get so lazy about it).

I get the same thing sometimes… What I find to work is to apply an antibiotic ointment before you go to sleep and iff you want apply in late afternoon.

Answer #10

I have a large facial scab from an auto accident (eyebrow area) and I’m at a loss on how to treat it. Should I just let it run it’s course our use benzoperixide and aloe on it. I don’t want to lose the eyebrow so could you please advise?

Answer #11

I know this is hard w/school just starting, but don’t put anything on the scabs. Just let them heal naturally. And keep your hands away from your face. Don’t pick scabs or they will never heal. And wash your face w/only water, no soap. Don’t rub your face when washing it, just pat the water on w/your hands. The scabs will fall off in 5-6 days and your face “Will Not” burn. Eat healthy and you won’t get sores on your face.

Answer #12

Aloe Vera works wonders too…it doesnt smell very good but it will heal your scabs really fast! and im not talking like the banana boat alover gel, i mean real aloe vera, cut one of the leaves and peel one side of it and rub the slime all over your scabs. it works great on burns too!

Answer #13

Yes, that does sound like an allergic reaction. Wash your face well and apply some neosporin. This should help the scabs heal and reduce the appearence of scarring.

Answer #14

put vaseline on them, I have really bad sensative skin and vaseline always clears my skin x

Answer #15

I think its best if you dont put any creams on the scabs because it will only make it worse. Dont get me wrong some creams work but the best thing to do is just leave it, and every now and then if it gets too dry or wet, dab it with a hot wet cloth it keeps it clean, fresh and begins to heal.

Answer #16

Honey on the areas will draw the bacteria out and your skin will glow- definately heat the honey. so use honey it will definitely helps you.
