Persuading Mum About Piercing!

I really want my belly button pierced, and at the moment she’s saying no. I think she will cave if I come up with some creative and resourceful arguments for getting it done. Please help!

do it anyway lol thats what I would do, try to hide it at first. thatd work for my mom :P shed be mad for the first few then shed get over it…at least she did bout smoking…now shes suggesting a tatoo…wtf?

Make sure you know how to take care of it, first. As long as you’re responsible enough to do what the piercer tells you to do, you should be fine.

There’s not really an effective argument to that. Perhaps you can tell her that if you ever change your mind, you can take it out and it closes up just fine. Sometimes, reminding them that it isn’t perminant really helps.
