Palestines!

It’s a religious fight between Israel and Palestine. The palestines basically want Israel and to claim it as their land.

In a nutshell, for centuries Jewish refugees have been moving to “the holy land.” Zionism is a political movement supporting a homeland for Jews in these lands. Until WWII Jews were a small minority in Palestine but large number of Jews fleeing persecution in NAZI Germany created a large Jewish presence. In 1948 the Palestine war lead to the creation of the Jewish state. The UN divided the land between Israeli and Palestinian areas. Tensions remain high between Israelis and Palestinians because both groups believe themselves to be the rightful occupants of the land. Israel has never honored the UN partitions expanding their territory into Palestinian territories through settlements. Neighboring Arab nations have not accepted very many Arab refugees displaced by Isreal causing a humanitarian crisis for Palestinians. Palestinians lacking an officially recognised government have resorted to terrorism to fight Isreal.
