What's could cause pain in my right ovary? (Read all)

Hello.

I have been sexually active a lot lately ((Unprotected)) I was diagnosed with BV a week ago. I was supposed to have my period today and i’m not getting it. I am very regular with my period. I am on antibiotics right now. I have a weird pain that doesn’t hurt but it’s annoying in my right ovary.

Could i be pregnant? What else could cause this pain?

I am an EMT so i have had training in possible causes of the pain you are describing- UNDERSTAND HOWEVER THAT YOU WILL NEED TO GO SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT THIS CONDITION- only a hands on exam will let you know for sure what is going on with your body.

possible causes of ovary ( or associated area) pain.

ECTOPIC PREGNANCY- A fertilized egg has come to lie outside of the uterus- usually inside of a fallopian tube- a fallopian tube is not large enough to support the growth of a fetus and placenta for more than 6 to 8 weeks. when the tube ruptures, it produces massive internal hemorrhage and abrupt abdominal pain. this situation requires a trip to the hospital.

PID- Pelvic Inflammatory Disease is an infection of the fallopian tubes this condition is usually accompanied with acute pain and tenderness in the lower abdomen- this condition has a fever that goes with it- it is a serious infection and requires prompt medical attention.

basically i WOULD TELL YOU TO GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR ASAP.
