How to get my fiance to be confident about our baby?
My Fiance and I are expecting our first baby. We just recently found out but he is afraid to tell our friends and family, not because he’s scared of having a baby, but because he is afraid of what they will think. We are both 19 and have been dating for 5 years. I know nobody will think bad of him, but how can I get him to realize that?
Get him to read some baby books and watch some documentaries, then he should be more confident about being a father. If hes scared to tell his family and friends, maybe you should wait a month or so, (depends how far gone you are), maybe he wants it to sink in and wait for him to get used to the idea of having his 1st baby before he tells this major news to his family. When you say fiance and then you clarify that you are only 19, I’m going to assume that the baby was not planned and that you two are getting married because of the baby. Or were you planned to be engaged before? Was the baby planned? I don’t want to give advice based off of an assumption!
