What are some things I can do in order to reward myself for reaching my first weight loss goal?

Eat a Supreme Pizza and finish with Ice Cream and cake……jk!! Maybe buy yourself a gift like some clothes that are of a smaller size than anything you own. But them the size of your future final goal look.

yea, i plan on getting new clothes when i hit my last weight loss goal which is significantly less than what i am now. =/ it would make me feel bad having a bunch of clothes i couldnt wear lying around my house.

  • A sweet treat. Its important to have a healthy diet when your trying to lose weight but alot of people forget that indulging once in a while will not hurt. It’s not about which sweet you choose its about control and portion.

-New workout clothes/bag. Not only do you get cute useful new clothes but since their new you’ll want to wear them and will have more motivation to work out.

-Salon makeover. Nothing can make you feel better and more confident than walking out a salon with a new haircut and fresh makeup.

Something that you would enjoy, like something with chocolate in if you like chocolate, or, something else sweet that you would enjoy. It’s good to reward yourself with something sweet every once in a while if your trying to loose weight.

I little bit off topic on the rewards. But I had an experience with the clothes. I had the money to buy clothes while I was loosing weight but then didn’t know what to do. Do I buy clothes that fit but that will be too big a couple of months later and then I can’t wear and had to buy new clothes again or do I buy smaller clothes to motivate me to reach that goal? Because then if I can reach that goal it will also be wasted money. Or hold on and don’t buy any clothing at all for a year?

if i was in that situation id just hold onto the money and get clothes when i loose weight. having to small of clothes doesnt motivate me. i have size 8jeans and everytime i see them it just reminds me of how im so large and throws me into a depression. i really dont have money to buy clothes right now anyways

thank you; ill probably allow myself to indulge on something I normally won’t eat but ill make sure to keep it small. I really don’t have the money for new clothes or going to a salon

When I reach a weight gain goal, I usually reward myself by going out to eat . If my goal is to gain a healthy 5-6 pounds and I reach it, I’ll go out and get something nice and juicy to eat just to reward myself for my commitment to gaining healthy weight.

Make it something nice and big, but not so big that it drives you away from reaching your next goal. When I was losing weight, I wrote down every food I wanted to eat after my goal, so to ‘tie’ me over til I reached it, I’d have something healthy, but not on my diet. Like a steak or some sugar-free candy. Enough to make me feel happy, but not drive me away from my real goal.

As for the clothes thing, I had an experience like that. As I gained weight, I filled out my shirts and had to buy a size up. While losing it, I found that my normal shirts became bigger on me and I looked smaller than I used to. What I did with some clothes was pack them into a box and donate them to the less fortunate kids.

Yeah much better if you buy a new dress/clothes rather than food. to think you’re happy to loss some weight and you’ll buy yourself food. That would only give extra pounds. Why don’t you just take a picture of yourself and make it into a poster as big as you. Paste it on the wall so that everyday you’ll see how much weight you loss.
