How long do you think it will take til I see some results?

hi there, Im just looking for some opinions about my workouts..everyday I speed walk on the treadmil for an hour in the morning as soon as I get up, and an hour at night aswell.I stretch before and after too. I have been doing it for about 2 weeks..I know weight loss doesnt happen over night, but should I be able to see any results yet? even the slightest ones? Im getting a little uncouraged because to me I dont see anything..and I’ve been working my butt off!!! is this normal?? I need some motivation :) I dont eat nearly as much as I used to, I’ve cut way back on junk food..I allow myself a treat everynow and then, not every day tho..and its not a big amount of whatever it might be either, just a small one. I drink 6-9 cups of water daily..mostly when Im on the treadmil..How long do you think it will take til I see some results? Im a 22 yr old female, I weigh 165lbs and Im 5’5..I would like to weight around 135lbs..how long do you think it will take me to reach my goal? any opinons are welcome, and any tips would be a bonus :0) Thank you!!!

Hey there,

First off, good job for making an Idea weight.

Be warned that just speed walking on a treadmil won’t make you lose weight everywhere. For example, If you want to lose weight on your stomach (or anywhere else), try some excersises aimed at that area (arms, chest…etc). Also, your work out wont do much if it feels comfortable. you need to really push yourself. Since you can do an hour, why not aim at increasing the speed? Also you can try increasing your work out time.

Also, if you’re getting bored with your workout, switch up your style. Listen to some music, do another routine (such as crunches, swiming and even dancing) or even just go for a run with a friend.

When it comes to eating, remember to not skip any meals as this can force your body into survival mode and you can actually put on weight.

Another thing to note, is that you can put on weight when excercising, and that’s due to the fact that your muscles are building up and getting stronger.

hi first of all you should never ever strech before you start running or before you do anything it could cause you to pull a muscle. but any way eeat a healthy breakfast everyday. and try to put variety in your work out. if you ‘re speed walking today start jogging tommarao. and then start running. and do at least 15 sit ups a day. start counting your calories and never over do it . and think about fitting into a size 5 jeans everyday. but do go anerxic or belimic

how can stretching before running be bad?? I dont see how thats possible..if you dont strech you’ll be sorry!!!
