What is your opinion on vegans?

I have been vegan for almost half of my life and vegetarian the other. It’s very interesting to hear others perspective on my diet. Whether negative or positive.

Answer #1

Well they can have takos or chicken

Answer #2

funny?

Answer #3

I think if you feel strongly about it and that’s the way you want to live your life then so be it! It’s not hurting you or anyone else so no one has the right to judge you.

Answer #4

I actually wouldn’t mind being a vegetarian. I need more fruits and vegetables in my diet and just think I would be a bit more healthier. But, I’m Mexican and we love our steak and chorizo, so that would be tough for me. lol (:

Answer #5

I give vegans props because eating foods and using products that have absolutely no animal products in them is very difficult.

Answer #6

I don’t really care what people eat. I mean, if someone were to tell me that they are vegan, it wouldn’t really phase me. I’d probably just nod my head and be like “alright, good to know” haha. I guess it is pretty cool that you have the self-control and willpower to do it, though.

Answer #7

I’ve been a vegetarian 32 years. I was a pretty strict vegan for about 6 months. Frankly I found veganism too difficult. In Texas it is hard enough being lacto ovo vegetarian let alone vegan. Perhaps if I lived someplace with vegan cafes or was rich enough to hire a vegan chef I could manage but for me it was a bridge too far.

Answer #8

I feel like there’s no point to it, youre not saving any animals, it’s not ‘healthier’, all youre doing is depriving yourself of some good sh1t.

Answer #9

I think your depriving yourself of something you should be eating. I really dont care though, one of my best friends is vegetarian, has been for 6 years or so. It doesn’t bother me or change my opinion on someone just because they are vegans or vegetarians.. I once wanted to be one, but then I came to the conclusion to simply not over-consume meat, and to buy it from the right people.

Answer #10

Mexican is the way to go.

Answer #11

It shouldn’t matter what you want to eat. I mean, some people don’t like sweets. Big deal. Others don’t eat meat. Big deal. It doesn’t affect me, so i have no problem with it. I give props to people who can do it though. I’m not a red meat eater, i eat chicken sometimes. But vegetables aren’t very filling, i would find myself eating alot of random things throughout the day to satisfy my hunger.

Answer #12

It’s a lifestyle choice that if your happy with it and feel healthier as a result …why not ?

Answer #13

You don’t think reducing the demand for meat, eggs, byproducts, leather, etc.from millions of Vegetarians, near-vegetarians, and vegans has any affect on demand and production? I don’t mean to get preachy on you since what everyone eats is their own personal decision but vegetarianism is better for you, better for the livestock, and better for the environment.
