I find it disconcerting that an advisor is not aware of this term of use. Advisors should understand the Terms of Use.

jess563029, I asked whether advisors are allowed to break the rules because he is considered one. I was not aware that he runs and owns the site. Even though, he is setting a bad example by being hypocritical.

And, believe it or not, I go by the same ones as any other member, even though I wrote the rules…yes, if you dig through some of my questions, you’ll see links (gasp) other parts of FunAdvice. However, this also pre-dates us changing the rules. You can also find other members questions, before we put that rule in place with URLs in them…which we now edit out.

Tell me: when you signed up, the form clearly said to read the rules, because you agreed to abide by them. And, due to a recent court decision in the state of California…Terms of Use can be considered “legally binding” and breaking them being a “federal hacking crime”…food for thought…maybe, you’d be better off simply reading them, and then…you know, asking for help, if they aren’t clear :)

And yes, links in answers are OK, as long as the answer stands without the link…in this case, the way to find the video was perfectly clear from my question. And, because we’ve had many people ask if Obama is an American, I thought it appropriate to share. And, to ask what people’s take on the clip was, as when I’d seen it, several hundred thousand people had seen it previously (more than we have members here).
