Hormonal imbalance can always influence your general moods and your emotional sensitivity. Just like a pregnancy or the period. As estrogen pills are hormones, yes I guess it would be normal.

If the influence is so intense that it bothers you, you should talk to your doc. Maybe there is an alternative product with less side effects.
