Is it normal for birth control to make you puke shortly after you start taking it?

I’ve been taking birth control for a few days and have been nauseous and puking ever since, I’m usually fine throughout the day, but after I take the pill at night I end up feeling nauseous and puking in the morning :(

Answer #1

Yes, that is normal. Your body obviously dousnt agree with that type of birth control. And it might not be effective if you puke because it will be out your system. xxx

Answer #2

Just keep taking it within a week it’ll stop. It happened to me. Just change the time you take it like 10 at night before you go to bed. It’s when your body is most calm. If it is the pill itself start taking it side another food. ((Like you’d do to a child)). You’re bod will get used to it, if not call the doctor and have them change the dosage to a lower one to support your body. (:

it’s normal, I felt nauseated for 3 days of taking i, and it does tell you not to stop taking it, but when I was at work, sleeping was the only option, nothing else helped I would puke my breakfast up, and it will go away when the afternoon came around but will act up again at night…

I’ve never felt sick from birth control. :/ You should consult your doctor. There are other birth control out there.
