Why is my period lasting so long? I just started birth control?

I started my birthcontrol when I was supposed to (the first day of my period) and I’ve had it for exactly a week now, and it seems like it’s not letting up. I’ve never had my period this long and I was wondering if this was normal? I was also wondering if I am definately going to be getting my period when I start taking my placebo pills, because that’s in only 20 days…

that is totally normal. the first few months of taking the birthcontrol your period could be very irregular. meaning you may even have spotting when you arent even about to start your period. no worries. but it does take two to three months to get regulated.

dont even take the pills, you shouldnt be having sex before your married
