I had bed bugs and they are hard to get rid of. Put your bed sheets in a bag and let them warm in the sun (but I just threw mine out because I didn’t want to take chances) and then wash them. Get rid of your pillows, matresses, and bedf rame because chances are they have burrowed in the wood and fabric. If you have anything on your bed, check them first. Stuffed animals have to be put in the dryer for a couple minutes. Then spray your room and outside of your room to kill any bedbugs and keep them out. I used raid twice a month for one month and they were gone. If you get a new bed, put double sided tape on the floor to outline the bed and on edges on the bed. Check the tape regularly. If you see a bedbug then spray again. If they keep coming back no matter what, consider getting a heat treatment.

Bed bug bites tend to be slightly raised and clustered so, yes, there’s a good possibility that they’re bed bug bites. Here’s what you need to do now:

  1. Wash all your clothes in the hottest setting on your washer. This will kill bugs that may be hiding in the fabrics.
  2. Keep all fabrics from your bedroom away from ones in other areas of your house to keep them from spreading.
  3. Treat your bites with Cortaid and ice packs.
  4. Look on your bed, in the creases of the mattress, on the underside etc. for really really small bugs, or tiny red or brown dots.
  5. If you find anything, call an exterminator to come spray.
  6. Buy a bed bug mattress encasing that will hopefully at least keep them from spreading. It is so simple. So don’t fear from this. For know more about bed bugs bites see here. http://funadvice.com/r/budt1eth9cm

yes

I’m not 100% sure but if you had bites wouldn’t they be spread throughout your whole body? Like, why would the bugs stay on one little area? If you have bed bugs you don’t just have a few, you have thousands, tens of thousands. You need to soak your clothes and any materials on your room in boiling water (careful with prints that might not be able to withstand boiling water), and the same with your sheets etc. If your mattress is only a cheap one I’d suggest getting a new one (once your room is 100% bug free of course) but if it’s an expensive mattress you can buy/rent steamer things to fumigate it yourself. Bed bugs hide everywhere, in wall-cracks, carpet.. they are a b*tch to get rid of.

They generally can bite in localized area of the skin. I would consult the source below for more information.
