Little tiny black bugs that bite hard

I play tennis and on the courts almost everyday are little black bugs. They look like gnats but they aren’t. After one tennis match my back was covered in the bug bites. Some of the girs get bit as bad as I do, but they don’t show up on them. I put bug spray on, but it made them bite worse. What are these bugs, and how can I keep them away?

Answer #2

mosquito dont worry get bug spray

Answer #3

They aren’t fleas - fleas don’t fly. They aren’t mosquitos as those are bigger than these bugs. I’m still looking for more info on these things but, they are VERY annoying!! And, they do leave an itchy bump like a mosquito.

They’re fleas. There’s nothing really you can do to make them stop biting. I think you should find somewhere else to play tennis.

Sounds like black flies. They can leave a nasty bite, despite their small size.
