Ok… Is your cat/kitty really a kitten? I just looked at your profile pic… Like just a few weeks old? And your training him? maybe its a texture thing …does it ever use the litter box? Or does he always find somewhere softer to go? You can try mixing in some natural pellets that are softer to their paws, with the regular litter. Or mix it with some potting soil. I’ve had quite a few odd kitties/cats that all seem to have different issues… Its hard to find what the cause is - its just trial and error. But until you figure it out- where the cat does its business right now get some of those puppy training pee pads. And put them where ever the cat normally goes. And other than that I’m out of suggestions. Give your kitty lots of love and attention- that could be part of it too- and of course talk to him. Cats are very personable!! Good luck!

My cat actually would only pee on plastic… so maybe not… then I took the lid off her box and she stopped peeing all over the place…

Try different boxes… try a bigger box, maybe a smaller one, take the lid off or put a lid on (this should be on a second box), try different litter…

could be an infection… my friend’s cat had the same problem, a week of antibiotics and it stopped…

Try a different kitty litter perhaps…My old cat hated the new kinds with all the deoderizers in them…he liked only the old fashioned type.
