Silent kitty

My five year old cat tries to meow but no noise comes out. This just started a few minutes ago. She does not appear to be in any distress. She is eating, drinking, going potty, etc. Any thoughts? Thanks

sometimes my cats do that…they do it every so often…its nothing to worry about

just take her tto the vet, you owe it to her, opposed to asking random people on here.

Maybe she just doesn’t feel like making any noise.

I have two cats who don’t meow vocally - there’s nothing wrong with them, they just don’t see the need to be noisy.
