Are flat irons bad for your hair?

I JUST RECENTLY GOT MY SPLIT ENDZ CUT AND I WAS WONDERING IS MY HAIR SUPPOSED TO SHED SOME HAIR BECUZ THATS WHAT ITS DOING,AND ALSO EVERY MORNING FOR SKOOL I PRESS MY HAIR WITH A FLAT IRON AND I WANTED TO KNOW IS THAT GOOD FOR MY HAIR OR SHOULD I JUST STOP DOING THAT ALTOGETHER FOR THE BETTER SAKE OF MY HAIR?

Hi,

Yes, flat irons can damage your hair. Constant use of heat on the hair is tough on the hair. You should limit your use to about one time a week, and if not, use a protectant and/or reduce the heat that you have the iron on while using it.

yes but theres a shampoo for it its called mane and tail i think you can get it at wal-mart you can you use on your hair or your pets hair thats why its called mane and tail
