My dog's nose

My 5 year old rat terrior has something wrong with her nose. I’m not sure how to describe it. Perhaps some of the skin has fallen off because it looks rather dry. Her nose is not wet either. There are also two little indents on her nose. She licks her nose a lot…However, her nose keeps getting worse…

Many diseases can cause changes in the nose, from simple and benign to severe. Some conditions are limited to the nose, while others involve the whole body, with the nasal changes representing one part of the overall syndrome: http://www.dogchannel.com/dog-vet-library/vetqa/articlediscolorationqa.aspx?cm_sp=InternalClicks-_-RelatedArticles-_-dog-vet-library/vetqa/articlediscolorationqa
