No it doesn’t mean your dog is sick…that’s an old wives tale.
Forget checking his nose, and pay attention to his poop…that’s the best thing to watch for health problems.

well a dogs nose is supposed to be wet and cold, I dont think id worry unless you noticed other things wrong or it stays that way for awhile. just keep on eye on him/her. if it stays that way for awhile try googling it or if you get worried try a vet anyway, better to be safe. good luck hope he/she is fine : )
Usually it doesn’t mean the animal is sick… If your pet starts sneezing and has weird looking poo then I would have the vet check him out. As for the dry nose, don’t worry about it. That’s normal.
